MEET JELENA

I discovered yoga 15 years ago. Initially, it was Hatha Yoga that drew me in, offering a much-needed oasis of calm during busy workdays. The connection between breath and movement, combined with the peace it brought, quickly became an essential part of life.

Passionate about movement from a young age, I explored dance and trapeze, which naturally led me to yoga as a way to deepen my connection to my body and breath.

The yoga journey took me to Sanjeev Bhanot’s Yogalife school, where I became a certified Yoga Alliance 200-hour Yoga Teacher. In 2020, I further refined my skills through an advanced 300-hour teacher training on Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, Advanced Anatomy, and Yoga Philosophy at Sanapurna in Zurich with Poonam Stecher Sharma. I am now an 800-hour certified Yoga Teacher.

My teaching is deeply inspired by the students I meet along the way, as I help them toward finding peace and ease in their practice. Yoga is a journey, not just of physical postures, but of mental clarity and emotional release. Each session is an opportunity to reconnect with breath and body, cultivating a sense of tranquility that extends beyond the mat.

With the aim of helping students find balance and inner peace, I ground each practice in both the tradition of yoga and the flow of daily life, with a genuine and sincere approach. Whether new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, classes are designed to support each individual on their journey.

MEET ANA

My name is Ana. I discovered yoga 25 years ago. Suffering from asthma, I’d always been looking for activities where I could practice my breathing mindfully. I started with swimming, and when I tried yoga, everything changed. I became aware of the close link between breathing, stress, and trauma, and of the conscious techniques that promote free breathing.

This exploration led me to study clinical hypnotherapy and other healing modalities such as Reiki, combined with scientific vegan nutrition for ultimate balance and homeostasis.

My approach to teaching stems from a sincere connection with nature and a deep appreciation of the ancient wisdom of Hatha Yoga.

As your companion on this transformative journey, I thrive on the challenges that life and yoga intertwine, grounding our practice in the timeless essence of traditional postures while embracing the serenity of the natural world. My mantra is simple: inhale the rejuvenating air of the forest, exhale the cares of life. In our sessions, we’ll not only explore physical postures on the mat, but also overcome mental obstacles off the mat, making each breath a conscious art and meditation a profound journey.

I am a certified Yoga Alliance 800 H  Yoga Teacher.

Weekend Retreat: Power, Presence, and Breath

Discover the beauty of being fully present throughout a weekend retreat that combines powerful yoga flows, mindful breathing, meditation, and hiking in nature. This retreat is designed to energize and center you, blending physical intensity with practices that bring you fully into the present moment. Supported by insights from yoga philosophy, each experience invites you to reconnect with yourself and embody a state of empowered peace.

What to Expect:

Power Yoga for Strength and Focus

Begin each day with a dynamic power yoga practice that builds strength, resilience, and clarity. These sessions challenge both body and mind, using movement as a means to explore and expand your limits—cultivating a powerful state of presence in each pose.

Pranayama Breathing Practices

Throughout the retreat, we’ll practice pranayama techniques to enhance mental focus, balance energy, and deepen your connection to breath. From energizing techniques in the morning to calming breathwork in the evening, pranayama will support and align with each part of the journey.

Guided Meditations for Inner Awareness

Unwind with guided meditations focused on cultivating mindfulness, clarity, and inner calm. These sessions offer a grounding counterpoint to the power yoga, helping you find balance and bring attention to the simplicity of « being. »

Mindful Hiking in Nature

Slow down with a mindful hike along peaceful forest trails. Moving in harmony with nature, we’ll practice sensory awareness, letting go of distractions to fully experience each step. This meditative walk will also introduce the philosophy of Aparigraha (non-attachment), encouraging us to release and be fully present.

Evening Yoga Philosophy and Reflection

In the evening, join discussions on yoga philosophy with themes like “Tapas” (discipline), “Santosha” (contentment), and “Pranayama” (breath control). Together, we’ll explore how these principles support us in balancing power, presence, and peace, both on and off the mat.

This retreat offers an immersive experience for those looking to balance strength with mindfulness, finding connection and peace within.

Perfect for all levels, the weekend will be complemented by nourishing meals to support physical vitality, mental clarity, and overall well-being as you embark on this peaceful journey.
